Twenty-seven years ago, I dreaded getting up everyday. I was a 35-year-old logging truck driver in Lumby BC. It wasn’t that I didn’t make great money it was that I had no life. Working 16 hours a day left me with little time or energy to enjoy my beautiful wife and two amazing kids. They had a great quality of life playing sports, visiting friends, and just doing what they wanted to do. . I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Like so many people I was praying for a way out, I thought there had to be a better way to make a living. As luck would have it, I met Brad Girard. He explained to me that if I kept doing what I was doing for work and what I was doing with my finances I would never retire. I was on the work till you die program.

Brad offered me an opportunity, a chance to change the direction of my life. I thought, what do I have to lose. So, with skepticism, doubt and fear I quit driving a truck to get licensed in the Financial Industry with Brad. I loved what he had taught me about money and business and believed that I could share the same message with the people I loved and cared about. I’m so proud of the fact that we have changed thousands of peoples lives through our knowledge and opportunity.

My wife Sherry and I have been financially Independent now for 20 years. We have been able to work together side by side. We travel the world together and really get to enjoy each other as was the dream when we got married. Today we work with our daughter Chelsea to prepare her to take over the business when were no longer able. Our son Cole was able to grow up watching us become successful entrepreneurs, this has led him to be a successful business owner also.

Brad and his family have become some of our dearest friends, we love them like family. Thank God I didn’t let skepticism, doubt and fear control my life decision, sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith.
